Kelly Teschner grew up in a quiet lakeside town in rural Ontario — a place where the pace was slow, the landscape was vast, and creativity had room to take root. Nestled in nature and surrounded by stillness, she developed an early appreciation for beauty in simplicity and the grounding feeling of home.

As one of five siblings in a lively family of seven, her childhood was full of movement and imagination - riding quads, snowmobiling, swimming, and always creating. While the outdoors sparked her adventurous spirit, it was in her sketchbooks and paintings that she found a deeper connection - an early glimpse of the creative path she would one day follow.

That passion led her to study Interior Design at Fanshawe College. After three years of focused study, she followed her instincts and made a bold move across the country to Kelowna, BC - drawn by the beauty of the Okanagan and the promise of a slower, more intentional lifestyle.

Over the past decade, Kelly built her career in high-end residential design, working closely with architects, custom home builders, and luxury clients. In 2021, she launched Kelly Leigh Design - a studio built on the values she lives by: thoughtful design, lasting relationships, and an experience that feels just as beautiful as the end result.

As both a mother and a business owner, Kelly has redefined what luxury means: it’s not just about aesthetics - it’s about ease, clarity, and living in alignment with what matters most. Her work is grounded, personal, and quietly confident - an intuitive blend of elevated design and real-life rhythm.

With a sharp eye for detail and a deep appreciation for both form and function, she’s guided projects through every phase - from concept development and material selection to budget management and construction coordination - ensuring each step is as seamless as the final result. Kelly is known for bringing designs to life through detailed 3D modeling, photorealistic renderings, and immersive video walkthroughs that allow clients to clearly envision their space before the first wall goes up.
